WHAT IS STEM-EDUCATION
We are currently witnessing a technological revolution. High-tech products and innovative technologies are becoming an integral part of modern society. In children’s educational institutions, schools and institutes the leading place begins to take robotics, design, modeling and engineering.
According to, engineering education in RF needs to be raised to a new higher level. To solve this problem it is necessary to approve STEM education in Russia. It will allow to train highly-qualified specialists, who will contribute greatly to the development of our society and state.
WHAT DOES THE CONCEPT OF STEM EDUCATION INCLUDE?
STEM education is a full-fledged planned education, which includes the study of natural sciences combined with engineering, technology, and mathematics. In essence, it is a curriculum that is designed around the idea of educating students with an interdisciplinary and applied approach.
Today’s progressive system, unlike traditional instruction, is a blended learning environment that allows for hands-on demonstration of how a given learned scientific method can be applied to everyday life. Students explore robotics and programming in addition to math and physics. Children see firsthand the application of knowledge of exact disciplines.
STEM EDUCATION FOR preschool children is a partial modular program of preschool education aimed at the development of intellectual abilities in the process of cognitive activity and involvement in scientific and technological creativity.
